BOD-MODS STUDENT PIN-UP

ACADEMIES/UTK

WORKSHOP FRAME

What could you be for Halloween this year? A set of problematic geometries? A lofted series of planes? A parametric robot? In our second session of Fall 2015, we invite you to develop your own body-augmenting costume using the platforms of 123D Catch, Rhino, and Pepakura. You’ll partner up, scan some anatomy (let’s keep it PG), and import into Rhino - whereupon we will figure out just how bizarre, novel, unexpected, or spooky we can make said limb, head, etc.. Finally, using the power of Pepakura, we will plot sheets, trace-cut cardboard, and assemble these ‘bod-mods’ into your now infinitely-more-impressive costume. Join us, and be the envy of your Halloween party.
