Maps are incredible creatures— beautiful, informative, powerful, even dangerous. A well-made map is a thing to behold, and even more remarkable as a tool to wield. In this second version of our tribute to the macro-planimetric, we present a free archive of historical maps, a beautiful online visualization aid, a tribute-in-maps to the strange and beautiful thing that is a city, and, lastly, an interview with one of our latest GIANTS! (part of a team who is using maps and twitter to counteract the effects of climate change in the global South).
