Defining Design Practice
Dedicated to bridging the gap between design education and design practice, Lorena is the co-founder of Defining Design Practice, where she serves as an educator and consultant to design firms and professionals in the field. Trained in architecture and urban design, Lorena crafted a career in the intersection of design and business development in firms across the United States, Spain, China, and Brazil. She has served as an adjunct associate at Columbia GSAPP. Lorena holds a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, where she was awarded the Percival and Naomi Goodman grant. Lorena is a Fellow at the Urban Design Forum.
